Join the Expedition
Imagine the haunting melody of bagpipes at a traditional music gathering, a local legend coming to life and the profound solemnity and joyous celebration of a deeply rooted religious festival. Now imagine being part of it.
Our FESTA half-day expeditions offer more than just guided tours of some of our most cherished events; they are an invitation to experience the living history and vibrant spirit of this ancient land.
Unlock these doors and experience the authentic rhythm of Galician culture, just as we do. Leave guidebooks and common tourist spots behind and get ready to experience the magic, forging genuine connections with the people, traditions and stories that make Galicia truly unforgettable.

A full calendar of unique, handpicked events
Galicia hosts thousands of events, festivals, pilgrimages and celebrations every year. That is why we are known as the ‘Land of a Million Celebrations’. However, we won’t be taking you anywhere.
Our team has handpicked a selection of events based on three criteria: you can participate as a local, they connect you with an important part of our culture and they are unique to Galicia (or this is a unique way of doing it here).
Please note that we offer full-fledged expeditions for some events, such as the Rapa and Curro ones. If you are interested in historic recreations, please check our Travel in Time catalogue, which offers an enhanced version of this half-day tour.
Designed to help you become part of it
Our aim is not just to introduce you to our local traditions or to shock you with the weirdest ones. We want you to understand why they were created, why they endure, and what the future holds for Galician culture.
And for this, you are an important part of the equation. By participating alongside us, rather than just watching, you will help local communities maintain their pride and care for these traditions, ensuring they continue for years to come.
Please note that these are not shows for tourists. Although you will find tourists at many of them, these traditions are maintained, run and transformed by the locals who keep them alive.

A broad range of events and ‘uniqueness’
From folk music & dance gatherings to the grape harvest, you may already have an idea of what you want to see on your next trip to Galicia. But our team will take you one step further.
Would you like to connect with the land through religion? Discover night pilgrimages, processions inside coffins, living representations of Holy Week and masses held on land and at sea…

There’s so much more! Our team can connect you with the most unique, weird and wonderful traditions. Or to the heartwarming, festive and kind ones. Let’s talk!
