Comments

When you leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. This data is stored on the website for the sole purpose of managing and responding to comments.

We do not use Gravatar or similar services, nor do we publish your website or email address, nor do we sell your data. The only case in which we may store your email address in another service is if you send us a comment that requires a longer response, in which case we will contact you via email (although the contact form is better for this purpose; we have seen it all and prefer to be cautious).

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you can choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you don’t have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year, but you can delete them whenever you want in your browser (in the settings, privacy section).

Who we share your data with

This website is hosted by a Spanish hosting company called Webempresa Europa SL, which has its own privacy controls: https://www.webempresa.com/aviso-legal.html

In addition, we use Google Analytics to monitor how the website works (in order to improve it), but we will ask you first if you want to install data that goes there (always anonymous and without IP tracking, as far as the technology allows). You can pay by Bizum through Redsys or Stripe, although they do not provide us with your data beyond confirming that you have paid and when (we do not receive or store your card details or any other banking information). Of course, the payment options are entirely up to you.

We use other services, but they are independent and do not install a cookie from our website, only if you decide to use them, such as social networks, Telegram, Brevo (newsletter), booking.com, but we try to make them cookie-less services and only if you decide to visit them will a cookie be loaded (when you consent on their page).

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are kept indefinitely (unless you ask us to delete them). This is so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically, instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

If you have made a reservation through the gateway connected to our website, we will keep the data for a maximum of 2 years in order to respond to your requests. If the reservation is for a paid service or product, the corresponding invoice will be issued and the billing data will be kept for at least the time established by current tax and commercial regulations in Spain and, if this minimum is not exceeded, for a maximum of 10 years. Under no circumstances will we store payment data or sensitive personal or financial information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have left comments on this website, you can request to receive an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data that we are obliged to retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

This website is protected by an https security certificate. In addition, we have additional systems in place to prevent access to the back-end and hosting where this data is stored, as well as strict control of users with access to this information.

What procedures we use against data breaches

As you have seen above, we do not process sensitive or compromised data, but if a data breach occurs (whether actual or potential), we will provide all possible information to the Data Protection Agency and contact all those who may be affected by this event as soon as we become aware of it.

In the event that such a breach occurs at one of our suppliers in contact with personal data, we undertake to also notify those who may have been affected as soon as we become aware of the event.
