Imagine walking through 19 centuries of history on the world’s only intact Roman wall, dressed as people were when it was built, surrounded by troops, gladiators and druids.

This is Arde Lucus, a festival during which the city recreates its Roman past. To experience it first-hand, you will be provided with your own Roman (or Castrexo) dress to help you blend into the city’s living history.

You will discover Lugo through its Roman past, lead by a specialist guide who will connect you with the hidden temples, concealed mosaics and unique sculptures.
